The Pinnacle Curriculum, written by early childhood experts (and based on the works of Piaget, Gardner, and Erikson) develops your child’s love of learning while they are playing and having fun. Our teachers personalize the curriculum to meet your child’s needs, moving them towards their full potential as they explore the material in the classroom.

Your child will enjoy a positive educational experience, and gain confidence while feeling safe and supported. They’ll be comfortable in a small class setting, with two caring and qualified teachers, helping them to learn and grow. Along with Language Arts, Math and Science, your child will learn how to identify & self regulate their emotions in a healthy, engaged way.
In a playful safe environment, your little tot will learn to do more on their own as we gently guide them towards independence. We help them with their day-to-day skills, focusing on language and building their budding vocabulary. They’ll learn:
Playing with friends in our big beautiful playground and under our large covered structure will be a daily delight for your child. You’ll get notes every day on how their day went, and a newsletter every Friday full of pictures from their week of learning. We keep their schedule easy and predictable so that they feel safe and secure every day.
My timid child has come out of her shell and loves school! As an elementary school teacher, I am confident that sending my daughter to KP has been the best start to her educational journey we could possibly provide.
Kami & Kristin Ransom
We are amazed with how much progress our daughter has made in only 6 months attending school. We saw her bloom as well as changes in her independence and confidence.
We enrolled our daughter at KP after we interviewed more than 10 daycare centers. They provide great activities that inspire children as well as their parents. The teachers and the staff are very open to communicate with parents.
NAEYC stands for the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is the highest accreditation for preschools in the country. Accredited programs have met NAEYC’s 10 standards for high quality early childhood education.
We provide a morning and an afternoon snack. We do not have a commercial kitchen on site, so we cannot prepare lunches for the students. We have two options for lunches. One option is to send your child with a lunch. We have microwaves in every classroom to reheat meals. The other option is you can order lunch through Lunch Direct. This is a catering service we have partnered with that allows you to order lunches online which are delivered to the school daily.
We have a very diverse population of children and 30-40% of our students do not speak English when they first start with us. We have many years of experience and training in the process of language acquisition and will help your child build their language skills.
Yes, your child needs to be fully potty-trained to attend the 3’s class. This class is not set up for diaper changing as it does not have a changing table. Children can still wear a pull up at nap time if needed.
No, your child must be able to feed themselves. However, we will help and encourage your child to improve in this area.
The State of Texas licensing regulations require that all children in care for more than 5 hours a day be given a nap/quiet time. Kindergarten Prep will have the children lie quietly on their mats for 30-45 minutes. At the end of that time, children who are not asleep will be given a bag with quiet activities until nap time is over. Music and books on tape are played for the children during this time also.
Daily notes are provided for the 2yr old program. However, the 3’s and Pre-K program do not send out notes due to time constraints. We feel that writing multiple notes each day would take away from valuable instruction time. We do send home progress notes and assessment every 6 weeks and hold parent-teacher conferences twice a year.
Kindergarten Prep has taken the cost to educate your child during the (10) months of the regular school year and divided into 10 equal payments. Therefore, you pay the same amount each month whether your child is in school or not. This is actually less expensive than paying a weekly tuition for the whole year. The school also does not charge any additional supply fees.
Yes, each classroom and playground has at least one security camera which allows our administration team to continuously monitor activities throughout the center with audio and visual.
On their first day a child will need to bring a backpack with a change of clothes, a lunch and a nap roll for nap time.
